The Circle D Specialties HP Series 8HP90 torque converter is a 10-inch, custom-manufactured upgrade based on the factory core, modified for improved stall speed and superior power handling. This converter is an excellent choice for street cars and trucks capable of supporting up to 1000 wheel horsepower and beyond. This converter features a CDS Exclusive Billet Stator for improved performance and durability. The pump and turbine are furnace brazed and hand TIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It also includes Torrington Style Bearings and Power Pack Upgraded Lockup Clutches to handle increased power demands. As a custom-manufactured product, please note that there is a production lead time of 5-6 weeks. This converter is a modification of the factory OE core, which must be sent in prior to service.
