The Xtreme-DI HPFP 35 is a patent-pending, high-pressure gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel pump engineered as a direct replacement for the Bosch OEM high-pressure fuel pump. The kit includes all necessary components for installation, such as the HPFP unit itself, an OEM-style inlet hose equipped with an OEM fuel pressure sensor, a new high-pressure fuel line, and an electric pigtail connector. This pump is crucial for users aiming to run higher fuel concentrations like E85, as it allows for full E85 utilization without the need for auxiliary fuel kits or complex wiring. When paired with stock turbochargers and injectors, the XDI 35 pump can support approximately 380-400 wheel horsepower on full E85. For applications requiring more power, the XDI 35 pump, in conjunction with upgraded injectors (such as XDI 2000cc injectors), can support between 550-600 wheel horsepower, provided the engine and turbo setup are appropriately matched. For instance, the HPFP-35 combined with XDI 2000cc injectors has achieved 527 WHP on E85 with a Precision NX2 drop-in turbocharger. It is critical to note that custom tuning is absolutely required for both the HPFP and any associated injectors when installing this upgrade. The XDI HPFP 35 offers a significant performance advantage for high-output GDI engines, with a lead time typically ranging from 10-18 weeks as components are made to order.
