The Integrated Engineering HPFP Internal Kit is designed to significantly enhance the fuel delivery capabilities of your Audi B9 3.0T or 2.9T engine. By upgrading the factory high-pressure fuel pump internals, this kit allows for the use of larger hybrid turbos and specialized ECU tunes, such as E85 and Stage 1/2 Plus tunes. The core of this upgrade is the enlarged piston and cylinder design. The piston diameter is increased from the stock 9.92mm to 11.68mm, boosting the stroke volume from 448mm³ to 621mm³, resulting in an impressive 38.58% increase in flow over the factory unit. This substantial increase in fueling capacity is crucial for achieving higher power levels safely. All components are manufactured in the USA with meticulous attention to detail, including CNC machining to exacting sizes and verified tolerances down to 0.00005 of an inch. Durability and reliability are paramount with this kit. The tool steel pin and cylinder are treated with advanced coatings: the pin features a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating for reduced friction and enhanced wear resistance, while the cylinder receives a nitriding finish to greatly improve surface hardness and wear resistance. A lightweight, high-strength titanium retainer is also included. These components are rigorously tested on an in-house fuel pump dyno to simulate extreme operating conditions and ensure longevity. The product comes with a limited warranty of unlimited miles for 12 months. Installation of the IE HPFP Internal Kit requires specialized tools, including a dedicated HPFP Socket Tool (sold separately) for proper housing assembly and torque. The process involves handling fuel lines and demands a clean working environment to prevent contamination. While the installation itself is straightforward, experienced or professional installation is highly recommended due to the critical nature of fuel system components.
