This kit allows for the largest possible piston and cylinder volume, increasing fuel delivery for applications using hybrid turbos and performance ECU tunes like IE's Stage 1/2 Plus calibrations. The kit boasts a 38.58% increase in stroke volume over stock, achieved by enlarging the internal pin from 9.92mm to 11.68mm, resulting in a flow increase from 448mm³ to 621mm³. Key features include a tool steel pin and cylinder for extreme heat and abrasion resistance, a DLC-coated pin for low friction and long life, a nitrided cylinder for increased hardness and wear resistance, and an ultra-lightweight titanium retainer for high strength. All components are manufactured in the USA with meticulous attention to tolerances, verified down to 0.00005 of an inch. Installation of the HPFP kit involves fuel lines and requires careful attention to avoid contamination; experienced or professional installation is highly recommended. The process is estimated to take 2-3 hours and does not require permanent modifications. A specialty HPFP Socket Tool is sold separately and is required for the disassembly and assembly of the factory HPFP housing.
