HPFP Internals Upgrade Kit

This kit provides 50% more displacement than the factory unit, making it capable of supporting nearly 600 horsepower at 7500 RPM, which is often required for ECU tunes and turbo upgrades. It is considered a necessity for Stage 2 and big turbo FSI engine builds. Constructed with a constant diameter piston and a nitrided surface finish for exact tolerances and extreme resistance to wear, this kit ensures long life. The piston is made from a proprietary tool steel alloy chosen for its exceptional resistance to wear and abrasion. The ultralight titanium retainer replaces the factory steel component to reduce the chance of valve float, while retaining the OE spring to minimize cam follower wear. A custom, spring-energized molybdenum disulfide-impregnated seal is used for leak-free operation throughout the pump's life, preventing fuel from leaking into the crankcase. Installation requires assembly in an extremely clean environment to protect the high-tolerance pump internals. The kit includes the piston, cylinder, piston seal, retaining nut, titanium retainer, and keepers, along with detailed installation instructions. Each kit is tested and verified on a proprietary fuel pump dyno before shipment to ensure proper break-in and quality control. This HPFP upgrade is compatible with belt-drive 2.0T FSI engines found in various VW and Audi models, including the MK5 GTI/Jetta, MK6 Golf R, B6 Passat 2.0T, 8P A3/S3, B7 A4, and MKII TT. It also fits specific 3.6L VR6 FSI engines and Mazdaspeed 3 (2007-2013) and Mazdaspeed 6 (2006-2007) DISI engines. For Audi 4.2L FSI engines, two pumps are required. A matching ECU tune calibrated for a 9.8MM diameter HPFP piston is necessary to utilize the full capabilities of this upgrade.
