HPFP35 High-Pressure Fuel Pump

The Xtreme-DI HPFP35 is a high-pressure fuel pump engineered to replace the stock Bosch unit in the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST. This upgrade offers a substantial increase in fuel delivery, flowing 35% more than the OEM pump and capable of reaching injection pressures of up to 180 bar (2600 psi). This enhanced fueling capacity is crucial for vehicles pushing beyond the limitations of the factory fuel system, which typically runs out of capacity around 375 wheel horsepower. The HPFP35 provides the most significant fueling headroom at lower RPMs, contributing to improved low-end torque. When paired with XDI injectors, the fueling headroom is extended to both peak torque and peak horsepower ranges. With the HPFP35 (or the EVO variant) and XDI injectors, it becomes possible to run full E85 on the stock turbocharger. The fueling system's capacity can support up to 420-440 wheel horsepower on full E85, especially when used with an upgraded turbo. Additionally, the HPFP and injectors can augment existing fueling systems, such as auxiliary fuel systems, to create a comprehensive fueling solution. Installation includes the HPFP, an OEM-style inlet hose with the OEM fuel pressure sensor, and an electric pigtail. Professional tuning is required after installation to properly calibrate the system. The product is intended for off-highway use only and may violate emissions regulations if installed on a street-driven vehicle.
