HPS 5.0 Front Brake Pads

The Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 (High Performance Street 5.0) brake pads are engineered to deliver maximum stopping power and improved pedal feel for street-driven vehicles, without sacrificing the functionality of the ABS system. This Ferro-Carbon compound combines aerospace design principles with motorsports braking technology to achieve shorter stopping distances and enhanced performance under demanding conditions. Designed for a balance of performance and daily drivability, the HPS 5.0 compound offers aggressive torque, smooth and predictable control, and high rates of deceleration. They are formulated to provide great rotor and pad wear life and consistent release characteristics, operating effectively within a temperature range of 100-750°F, with an optimal range between 100-550°F. These pads are compatible with stock, slotted, and cross-drilled rotors and are intended for street use. While offering superior performance compared to the standard Hawk HPS compound, the HPS 5.0 compound also generates more brake dust than Hawk's Ceramic and HPS compounds, though it remains cleaner than most OEM pads.
