Description

The Hawk Performance HB249B.575 HPS 5.0 brake pads are engineered to significantly enhance the stopping power of your vehicle's braking system. These pads utilize a high-performance street compound that provides a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads, potentially delivering 20 to 40 percent more stopping power. Constructed with a Ferro-Carbon compound, these pads offer advanced braking characteristics suitable for Performance Street and Street & Track Events. They are noted for providing decreased stopping distances, improved pedal feel, and minimal fade under higher temperatures. The HPS 5.0 pads also offer high friction and torque, both when hot and cold, while remaining gentle on rotors and producing low brake dust. These are direct-fit replacement pads for OEM calipers. They are designed for use on the front of various Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models from 1998 to 2002, including Base, Z28, Z28 SS, Formula, and Trans Am trims.
