The Hawk HB158B.515 rear brake pads are engineered to significantly enhance your vehicle's braking capabilities. Designed with a High Performance Street 5.0 (HPS 5.0) Ferro-Carbon compound, these pads offer a premium upgrade for enthusiasts seeking greater stopping power and a more responsive pedal feel. The HPS 5.0 compound is developed to provide advanced braking characteristics suitable for both street and spirited driving. It combines aerospace-inspired design principles with motorsports braking technology to deliver shorter stopping distances and improved performance during heavy braking. The compound aims to provide aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear life, and smooth, predictable control, all while maintaining street-car friendly characteristics and not compromising ABS functionality. These pads operate effectively within a temperature range of 100-750°F, with an optimal range between 100-550°F. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors and are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors.
