The Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 Brake Pads are designed as a rear pair for street use, offering an upgrade over stock brake pads. They are constructed with a ferro-carbon friction material, known for its durability and performance. These pads provide aggressive torque and a higher coefficient of friction, which can result in increased stopping power compared to OEM pads. The HPS 5.0 compound is engineered to deliver great rotor and pad wear life, along with smooth and predictable control during braking. These specific brake pads are designed to fit the 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS 5.7 models and the 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird. They do not include shims, and feature electronic wear sensors.
