HPS Ferro-Carbon Brake Pads

Developed with a unique Ferro-Carbon formula derived from Aerospace and Motorsports severe-duty friction technology, these pads offer a higher coefficient of friction compared to standard OEM pads. This translates to a substantial increase in stopping power, providing 20-40% more bite and enhanced resistance to brake fade, ensuring more reliable braking under demanding conditions. The HPS compound delivers a smooth braking feel and consistent release characteristics, making them excellent for spirited driving. Furthermore, these pads produce less dust and operate virtually noise-free, contributing to a cleaner and quieter driving experience compared to many aftermarket alternatives. With an operating temperature range of 100-700 Deg F and an optimal range of 100-500 Deg F, the Hawk HPS pads can handle light track use. While they produce less dust than OEM pads, they will generate more dust than Hawk's Ceramic compound, a trade-off for the increased performance. These front brake pads are integrally molded and feature an electronic wear indicator. They do not include shims.
