It is suitable for various custom fabrication projects, including DIY air intake, cooling systems, and turbo intercooler piping. The tubing is sold in the T6 condition, making it easy to work with for sawing, machining, sanding, and polishing.

This aluminum tubing is commonly used in industrial, automotive, marine, and aerospace applications. HPS specifically notes that 6061 aluminum is not recommended for exhaust systems.
