The Hawk HB183F.660 HPS Street Brake Pads are engineered to be the aftermarket standard for enhancing stopping power in street cars. These rear brake pads utilize a unique Ferro-Carbon compound, which provides a higher coefficient of friction compared to original equipment pads. This results in a significant increase in stopping power, estimated between 20% and 40%, along with improved resistance to brake fade under demanding conditions. They are formulated to be gentle on brake rotors, ensuring longer rotor life. Additionally, they offer excellent wear characteristics and are known for being very low dust with minimal noise, making them a practical choice for daily driven vehicles that also see spirited use.
