HPS Rear Brake Pads

The Hawk HB508F.675 brake pads are engineered for the High Performance Street (HPS) application, designed to significantly enhance stopping power on your street-driven vehicle. Utilizing a unique Ferro-Carbon formula derived from aerospace and motorsports severe-duty friction technology, these pads offer a higher coefficient of friction compared to stock brake pads. This translates to an estimated 20-40% increase in stopping power and improved resistance to brake fade, ensuring a more durable and effective braking system with reduced brake dust. The HPS compound is recognized for its smooth braking feel, suitability for spirited driving, and gentle treatment of rotors, contributing to extended pad life. They also provide consistent brake release characteristics. While capable of withstanding light track use with an upper operating temperature of 800-900 Deg F, it is important to note that the HPS compound is not a race compound and cannot endure prolonged high-temperature track sessions.
