The Hawk HB621F.638 is a set of high-performance street disc brake pads engineered to significantly enhance the stopping power of your vehicle. Legendary for their performance, these pads offer a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads, delivering an estimated 20-40% more stopping power and improved resistance to brake fade. Crafted with a ferro-carbon material and intended for street use, these pads provide a smoother braking feel and more consistent performance, while also generating less brake dust and being gentle on rotors for extended pad life. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 100-700°F, with an optimal range of 100-500°F. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors; these pads are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors. A specific break-in procedure is recommended for optimal performance: perform 6-10 moderate stops from 30-35 MPH, followed by 2-3 hard stops from 40-45 MPH, avoiding dragging the brakes. Allow the system to cool for 15 minutes afterward.
