This kit relocates the HPS Performance Air Filter outside the engine compartment, ensuring the coolest possible air is drawn in, which translates to more oxygen for combustion. This design results in dyno-proven performance gains of +13.6 Whp horsepower and +18.5 Ft/lbs of torque, along with improved throttle response. The system utilizes a 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum alloy intake pipe that replaces the stock restrictive air box, optimizing airflow. The construction includes HPS signature reinforced silicone hoses and industrial-grade stainless steel T-bolt clamps for durability under extreme conditions. The included HPS Performance Air Filter is made in the USA from woven cotton, designed for superior filtration up to 5 microns without sacrificing airflow. It is washable and reusable for long-term cost savings. Importantly, this HPS cold air intake system does not require tuning after installation.
