The HPS Polish shortram air intake kit is engineered for the 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe with the 3.5L V6 engine, offering a blend of performance enhancement and aesthetic appeal with its polished finish. The system utilizes a 3-1/4" mandrel-bent aluminum tube to optimize airflow by replacing the restrictive stock air box. A heavy-duty, powder-coated steel heat shield is included to insulate the intake from engine heat, maximizing the cooling effect and performance. This setup is designed to deliver dyno-proven gains of +8 Whp and +8.5 Ft-lbs of torque, along with improved throttle response, while ensuring a safe air-fuel ratio. The air filter, a key component of the HPS Performance Air Filter line, is made in the USA from woven cotton, designed to trap particles down to 5 microns with superior airflow. It is washable and reusable, and features a specially formulated synthetic oil for effective filtration without impacting sensors. The kit includes reinforced silicone hoses and 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps for durability under extreme conditions.
