HQ Air Suspension System

The Ridetech 11320298 HQ Air Suspension System is engineered to provide modern ride quality and handling for 1978-1988 GM "G" Body cars, offering an ultra-low stance for show purposes. This comprehensive kit includes front upper and lower StrongArms with corrected ball joint angles for improved caster and stability, billet cross shafts for increased camber gain, and a double sheer lower shock mount. The Lower StrongArms feature an integrated control arm and strut rod design with robust bearings to replace factory rubber units. The TruTurn System incorporates tall spindles to maximize tire contact patch during cornering by inducing more negative camber gain. The kit also features a heavy-duty tubular frame brace that replaces the factory unit to reduce flex and improve clearance for the oil pan and steering components. This brace is not compatible with Shelby steering components or longer pitman and idler arms that cause interference. Included are HQ Series Shockwaves with impact-forged aluminum bodies and monotube designs for excellent ride quality and handling, featuring a rebound knob for under-hood access and a 1,000,0001 Mile Warranty. The front MuscleBar sway bar reduces body roll and comes with PosiLink end links. The Bolt-On 4-Link system significantly improves traction, handling, and ride quality with minimal welding required to the axle tube. All links are double adjustable with R-Joint rod ends. Optional Hub Spindles are available, offering the same geometry improvements but utilizing late-model Mustang hubs and brakes with a 5 x 4.5-inch lug pattern; these require a minimum of 17-inch wheels. Weld-on lower axle brackets (Part 70010122) are sold separately for aftermarket axle housings.
