HQ Series Air Suspension and Sway Bar System

The RideTech HQ Series Air Suspension and Sway Bars are engineered to enhance the performance and stance of 2015-2026 Ford Mustangs (S550/S650 generations). This comprehensive kit integrates front ShockWave air springs with rear CoolRide air suspension, paired with 24-position rebound adjustable HQ Series shocks featuring Fox Factory internals and valving. Construction highlights include an impact-forged aluminum shock body for optimal strength-to-weight ratio, and a gunmetal black and gray anodized finish for durability and aesthetics. The system allows for a 1.5"-2.5" drop from stock ride height, with an additional 2"-3" drop possible when fully deflated, significantly reducing the vehicle's center of gravity and wheel-to-tire gap. The included front and rear sway bars are crucial for managing body roll during cornering. The front sway bar offers two-position adjustability, with rates of 500 ft-lbs and 616 ft-lbs, compared to the stock 370 ft-lbs. The rear sway bar provides three-position adjustability, with rates of 165 ft-lbs, 210 ft-lbs, and 264 ft-lbs, significantly increasing from the stock 125 ft-lbs. The system also features a rubber-isolated spherical bearing in the camber/caster plates to minimize NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) commonly associated with performance suspensions. Key specifications include an improved range for performance driving alignments: Caster Range of +7.5 to +8.5 degrees and Camber Range of -2.5 to +.25 degrees. For extreme alignments, the Camber Range (Slug Flipped) is -1.0 to -4.25 degrees. The front bar dimensions are 35mm/1.375” thickness with a .250” wall, while the rear bar is 25.4mm/1” with a .125” wall. Fitment is confirmed for 2015-2026 S550/S650 Mustangs, compatible with four, six, and eight-cylinder models. However, vehicles equipped with factory electronic shock systems require an 'Electronic Shock Simulator' kit (sold separately by Shock Delete Engineering). This kit does not fit 2026-up cars equipped with electronic shocks. Additionally, negative camber settings exceeding -1 degree necessitate the use of the included Ridetech front sway bar. The installation difficulty is rated as Moderate, requiring intermediate skills.
