Overview

The HRC10 Horizontal Series is Maxwell's largest horizontal rope/chain windlass, designed for effortless retrieval and deployment of 8mm – 10mm (5/16” – 3/8”) short link chain and 14mm – 16mm (9/16” – 5/8”) 8-braid (plait) rope. It features Maxwell’s patented Wave Design™ rope/chain technology, making it ideal for above-deck installations or limited anchor locker space. Known for durability and longevity since its 2011 release. The HRC10-8 model includes a cone-type clutch/brake for manual freefall and emergency recovery, a heavy-duty dual-direction motor in a watertight case, marine-grade anodized aluminum and composite construction, simple bolt-down installation, a patented pressure arm system for secure grip and smooth rope-to-chain transition, and a large through-deck hawse pipe throat.
