HRT NSR Stage 1 Camshaft for 5.7L HEMI VVT

The COMP Cams 201-300-17 is a Stage 1 HRT NSR camshaft engineered for 2009 and newer Chrysler 5.7L HEMI engines equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT). This camshaft utilizes COMP Cams' advanced Low Shock Technology (LST) lobe designs, which are crafted to maximize horsepower and torque while enhancing stability at higher RPMs. The LST profiles also place less stress on valve springs, contributing to increased durability and reduced load loss. Further enhancing its performance and longevity, the 201-300-17 incorporates the Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process. This proprietary treatment reduces surface peak roughness, significantly increasing strength and providing a 250% improvement in the effective load-bearing area, allowing the camshaft to handle much higher loads. As a Stage 1 camshaft, it is designed as No Springs Required (NSR), enabling significant horsepower increases over stock without the need for additional valve spring upgrades.
