This antifreeze is exclusively formulated and produced for BMW to protect the engine year-round against freezing, boil over, corrosion, and silicate gel precipitation. It contains no nitrites or phosphate and provides protection for cast iron, steel, and aluminum.

The BMW HT-12 is a genuine BMW coolant/antifreeze, packaged in a 1-gallon jug and featuring a green color. This product is a 100% strength concentrate and must be diluted with distilled water to a 50:50 ratio before use. It is exclusively formulated and produced for BMW to provide year-round engine protection against freezing, boiling over, corrosion, and excessive silicate gel precipitation. The ethylene glycol-based formula contains no nitrites or phosphates, minimizing the risk of harmful deposit formation, and offers protection for common engine metals like cast iron, steel, and aluminum. This HT-12 coolant can be used in any vehicle that currently contains G48 coolant (blue), but G48 should not be used in vehicles originally filled with HT-12. It is compatible with most BMW models produced after 2018. However, it is crucial to visually confirm if your vehicle's existing coolant is green before purchasing, as some models may have originally come with G11 Blue Coolant. This is particularly important for 2020 model year Supra GR vehicles, which may come with either coolant color from the factory. It fits most 2020+ Toyota Supra GR and most 2021+ BMW M2, M3, M4 (G80, G81, G82, G83, G87) models that have factory green coolant. Always consult your vehicle's specifications or a professional if unsure about coolant compatibility.
