HTV Supercharger System for GM 2.0L LSJ

The Harrop HTV (Harrop Twin Vortices) supercharger system is a Roots-type supercharger manufactured utilizing the latest Eaton TVS™ rotating assembly. It is built specifically for GM's 2.0lt LSJ engines as a direct bolt-on replacement for the Eaton M62 unit. This upgrade increases the volumetric flow from 1.0 to 1.3 liters per revolution, leading to significant increases in both torque and power. The Harrop HTV supercharger features patented four-lobe rotors with high-flow inlet and outlet ports that greatly enhance thermal efficiency. This design delivers higher volumetric capacity and enables higher operating speeds, providing a high level of efficiency across a wide operating range. The four-lobe rotors have 160-degree twists and a higher helix angle, which, combined with redesigned ports, improves air-handling characteristics without increasing the unit's overall size. Key specifications include greater volumetric efficiency, a larger intake area for reduced turbulence, superior design for less heat generation, and high-flow ports for enhanced efficiency. It boasts less parasitic loss, quiet operation, a thermal efficiency exceeding 70%, and a 2.4 pressure ratio capability. The unit displaces 1320 cc/rev (80 ci/rev). This supercharger is compatible with the Chevrolet Cobalt SS from 2004 to 2007 and the Saturn Ion Redline from 2004 to 2007.
