The Turbonetics Hurricane 7668 turbocharger is engineered for modern engines and tuners pushing the limits of forced induction performance. Developed through real-world dyno and racetrack testing, this turbocharger family offers compact dimensions while maintaining boost pressure across the RPM band. This unit is ideal for smaller displacement engines requiring high boost pressures or applications with limited engine bay space. It delivers exceptional spool-up and boost response, particularly when equipped with the optional Turbonetics patented Ceramic Ball Bearing (CBB) and a high-pressure compressor housing. The Hurricane 7668 features the S compressor cover and is available with either a T3 or T4 turbine housing footprint. The newly released ported compressor housing helps prevent compressor surge under high boost conditions in smaller displacement applications. Specific configurations include the T3 turbine housing, available in twin scroll with a 4-inch V-band outlet, designed to be one of the highest-flowing T3 turbine housings. The model naming convention, such as '7668', indicates a 66mm compressor wheel and a 65 trim turbine wheel. The largest T3 model in this series, the 7268, features a 4-inch V-band turbine discharge capable of supporting up to 700 horsepower.
