Description

Clevite P Series Main Bearings (part number 480-1024, alternate MS1564P) are high-performance engine bearings designed for high-revving Chevrolet Small Block engines. These standard size bearings feature higher eccentricity and a high crush factor to compensate for high loads and distortion. They are constructed with steel backings and extra-thin overlays to prevent fatigue and include oil grooves that extend around both halves for improved oiling. These bearings are specifically designed for a modified engine configuration: a 400 Small Block engine block utilizing a 350 Small Block crankshaft, a common modification for enhanced performance.
