A malfunctioning HVAC climate control unit on a T1N Sprinter can leave occupants uncomfortable due to unreliable control over temperature, fan speed, air distribution, or A/C functions. This OEM HVAC operating unit is designed as a direct replacement for T1N Sprinters equipped with automatic climate control, restoring full dash-operated control over the vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. The HVAC operating unit, also known as the climate control module or HVAC control head, serves as the dashboard interface for managing temperature, fan speed, air distribution, and A/C engagement. On models with automatic climate control, this integrated electronic module translates driver inputs into commands for the HVAC blower motor, blend door actuators, A/C compressor clutch relay, and auxiliary heater system. Common failure symptoms include unresponsive climate control settings, a fan stuck at one speed, A/C that won't engage or disengage, inability to adjust temperature, a dim or dark display, and inoperable auxiliary heater control. This part is specifically for T1N Sprinters (W903/W904) with automatic climate control. It is not compatible with NCV3 or VS30 Sprinters. Always verify your existing unit part number and VIN before ordering. Fitment includes 2002–2006 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 / 3500 and 2003–2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 / 3500 models with automatic climate control. VIN-specific verification is required, and this unit is for T1N models only.
