The Barton Industries Hybrid 3 Short Throw Shifter is engineered to provide a significant upgrade for your manual transmission Mustang GT. It delivers a 25% reduction in shift throw, allowing for shorter, more effortless gear changes. The shifter features a unique dual mounting system, offering flexibility to mount it as a solid linkage with the transmission mount or directly to the body as a pivot, catering to individual driving preferences. Crafted from CNC-machined billet aluminum and stainless steel, this shifter is built for durability and precision. The housing is weather-tight and pre-sealed, while the solid front bushing and rear bracket work to minimize vibration and deflection, ensuring a more solid feel. The Hybrid 3 Shifter incorporates a 2-bushing system designed for optimum shift accuracy and incorporates adjustable side-to-side spring pressure to fine-tune your shifting experience, especially for the 2-3 shift. This shifter is designed to fit 2015-2026 GT Mustangs equipped with the MT-82 manual 6-speed transmission. Note that a shift knob is not included, but the shift handle is designed to reuse the stock factory shift knob or an aftermarket knob with a 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern. Installation is estimated to take approximately 1 hour and requires light to moderate mechanical skill. It is not for use with Mach-1 models.
