The Barton Hybrid 3 Shifter is engineered to provide smoother, more precise shifts for your 2011-2014 GT or 2012-2013 BOSS 302 Mustang equipped with the MT-82 6-speed manual transmission. This shifter boasts a unique cartridge system that allows for a 25% reduction in shifter throw, with options for 20% and 15% throw reduction available separately. It features dual mounting options, allowing installation via a transmission mount for a solid linkage or a body mount that acts as a pivot. The shifter also includes adjustable side-to-side spring pressure for fine-tuning and a wide-spaced dual bushing system for accurate shifts with minimal noise increase. Constructed from CNC-machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 303 stainless steel in the USA, this shifter is built for durability. It retains the factory reverse lockout feature and is designed to work with the stock shift knob or an aftermarket knob with a 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern (shift knob not included). Installation is estimated to take approximately one hour and requires light to moderate mechanical skill. This shifter is specifically designed for the 2011-2014 GT Mustangs and the 2012-2013 BOSS 302 Mustangs with the MT-82 manual 6-speed transmission. It includes all necessary hardware for installation.
