Hybrid Sport Youth w/ Sliding Tether

The Junior Hybrid Sport by Simpson Race Products is a lightweight and simple to use head and neck restraint. It is a good choice for kids who do not prefer equipment around their necks or directly on top of their shoulders. The straps are slipped on like a backpack and clipped in the chest buckle. The device has "wings" that curl upward on the ends for positive and secure shoulder harness placement. The hardware connecting the device to the helmet utilizes a metal clasp and a D-ring for easy connection and disconnection. It passes SFI 38.1 sled testing and exceeds rulebook requirements for all forms of auto racing. All hardware is included to attach the Simpson Hybrid Sport to the helmet. It comes with quick release pull tethers and D-Ring type helmet anchors. The tethers attached to the helmet on each side are contained on the hard section of the device with "U-Type" channels, allowing the driver to smoothly turn their head from side to side.
