Hyd Roller Lifters - BBF /BBF FE Retro-Fit

The Howards Cams 91169 are Hydraulic Roller Street Series Lifters, designed for Ford Big Block 429 and 460 engines, and also compatible with Ford FE (352-428) Roller Street applications. These lifters feature a vertical bar design. According to technical discussions, these lifters have a total plunger travel of 0.120 inches. Recommended cold preload settings are between 0.060 and 0.080 inches for optimal bleed-off, particularly with aluminum heads. The lifters utilize the same body for different applications, with changes primarily in the link bars. They also feature an oiling hole in the top for 429-460 pushrod oiling and can be used in FE engines with or without pushrod oiling.
