Overview

Detroit Speed's front subframe is a bolt-in replacement for the original stock subframe. It improves handling and ride quality using Detroit Speed's unique suspension geometry. It is the ONLY aftermarket subframe with hydroformed frame rails, offering strength, stiffness, precise quality, and repeatability. Hydroforming preserves steel's strength as it's performed at low temperatures. Spring Rate: 650lbs/in, Spring Free Length: 8in. Accommodates up to a 10" wide wheel without inner wheel well modification. Main and secondary crossmembers are stamped for structural rigidity. SBC, BBC, LS1, LS2, and LS7 engines are direct bolt-in compatible. Designed for road and track, blending OEM technology and aftermarket performance. Double Adjustable Shock: JRI's most race-winning shock with two independent adjustments for driver demands and performance levels, while providing excellent street ride quality. Subframe ships freight. Requires at least 17" wheels with a minimum inside wheel diameter of 16.250". For competition, the DSE rack & pinion fluid transfer conversion kit replaces hardlines with -4 AN steel fittings and Teflon-lined hoses for high-pressure steering systems.
