Detroit Speed's front subframe is a bolt-in replacement for the original stock subframe. It improves handling and ride quality using Detroit Speed's unique suspension geometry. It is the ONLY aftermarket subframe with hydroformed frame rails, offering strength, stiffness, precise quality, and repeatability. Hydroforming preserves steel's strength as it's performed at low temperatures. Spring Rate: 650lbs/in, Spring Free Length: 8in. Accommodates up to a 10" wide wheel without inner wheel well modification. Main and secondary crossmembers are stamped for structural rigidity. SBC, BBC, LS1, LS2, and LS7 engines are direct bolt-in compatible. Designed for road and track, blending OEM technology and aftermarket performance.
