Brand New Detroit Speed Powder Coated Hydroformed Subframe - Double Adjustable Shocks - SBC & LS, Compatible with 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird. A bolt-in replacement for the original stock subframe, this unit improves handling and ride quality with DSE's unique suspension geometry. It is the only aftermarket subframe with hydroformed frame rails, offering strength, stiffness, precise quality, and repeatability. Hydroforming preserves steel's strength as it's performed at low temperatures. Spring Rate: 550lbs/in. Spring Free Length: 8in. Accommodates up to a 10" wide wheel without inner wheel well modification. Both main and secondary crossmembers are stamped for structural rigidity.
