Hydra Chip 7.3 Powerstroke Programmer

The Power Hungry Performance (PHP) Hydra Chip is a programmable tuning module for 1994-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke F-Series and Excursion vehicles. This chip offers 17 total memory positions, comprised of 15 user-programmable tunes, a dedicated No-Start position, and a Module Bypass function for diagnostic or emissions purposes. The Hydra Chip system includes the chip itself, a digital switch with a two-digit LED display for clear indication of the active preset, a ribbon cable, and a USB cable. The switchbox can be mounted on any flat surface for convenience and allows for on-the-fly changes to the tuning presets. An optional dash-mounted bracket and USB extension cable are available for a permanent installation and allow for online reprogramming. Utilizing the free HydraFlash™ software, users can update and reprogram the chip online, accessing PHP's extensive library of standard calibrations. The software enables programming and verification of one or more positions with a single click, and allows any position to be left blank. Programming and verifying a single position takes less than 20 seconds. The chip also reads the factory PCM calibration directly through the chip and supports most competitor calibrations. It is fully compatible with PATS-equipped vehicles. The available tunes range from a 25 HP Heavy Tow tune to a 140 HP Extreme tune, alongside various High Idle, Valet, Whisper, and Teen Driver modes, offering a wide spectrum of performance and utility options tailored to different driving needs. Note that 100 HP and larger tunes are best paired with supporting fuel and air upgrades. This product is not available for sale in California.
