HydraChip Performance Tuner for 7.3L Powerstroke

The Power Hungry Hydra Chip is the only 7.3L PCM chip designed to give you absolute control over your vehicle's performance. This tuner arrives blank, allowing you to customize up to 17 total positions, including built-in Module Bypass for diagnostics or emissions testing and a No-Start mode. You will need a Windows-based computer to download free tunes using the HydraFlash software. This chip unlocks access to a comprehensive library of calibrations for stock trucks, and you can choose which power levels to load onto your chip. For those with modifications, custom tunes are available from tuners across the country, all managed via email without needing to send your chip off. The Hydra chip is compatible with most competitors' calibrations and PATS-equipped vehicles. Important fitment notes apply: the Power Hungry Hydra Chip is designed for 1994-2003 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L Diesel trucks. It will not work on earlier 7.3L IDI powered trucks. For 1994 to 1997 and early 1999 models, horsepower increases are limited to approximately 65 HP and 100 HP respectively, due to smaller volume injectors. Specialty files like Lope Idle or Smoke Show may not function correctly on 1994-1997 vehicles due to injector volume and High Pressure Oil Pump capacity restrictions. Trucks with manual transmissions will also have fewer calibration selections. This product is not available to ship to California. The Hydra Chip package includes the chip, a digital switch, ribbon cable, and USB cable. An optional dash-mounted USB cable and bracket are available for permanent installation.
