This setup is ideal for hot rods and older vehicles where under-floor components can be difficult to service and may require careful hydraulic considerations, such as residual pressure valves, due to caliper or wheel cylinder placement relative to the master cylinder. Constructed from laser-cut, 1/4-inch thick high-strength steel, this assembly measures 8-7/16 inches wide and 5-3/16 inches tall. The 13-inch long brake and clutch pedals feature a 6:1 ratio, are spaced four inches from the firewall, and have 5-3/4-inch center-to-center spacing on their mounting holes. Bronze bushings are utilized in the pedal pivots for smooth operation. The universal mount surface includes 3-1/4-inch horizontal bolt holes for manual brake master cylinders and 2-1/4-inch vertical bolt holes for clutch master cylinders. Installation requires fabrication, including careful measuring, drilling mounting and pushrod pass-thru holes, and potentially reinforcing the firewall. For brake master cylinders, a 3/8-inch threaded clevis is needed, and if the master cylinder lacks a pushrod, a replacement pushrod is also required. For the clutch master cylinder, a 5/16-inch threaded clevis is necessary. The pedal pads utilize a 1/2-inch mounting hole and are sold separately.
