The GKtech Budget hydraulic e-brake assembly and in-line braided line kit offers a budget-friendly solution for enhanced braking control, serving as a cheaper alternative to standalone hydraulic handbrake systems that require additional calipers, pads, and brackets. This in-line kit integrates directly with your vehicle's existing rear calipers, and the included braided lines ensure a direct fit without the need for modifications. The installation process involves removing the standard brake line between the master cylinder and the rear main line, and then connecting the new braided lines to the handbrake master cylinder and back. The estimated installation time is approximately 30 minutes. It's important to note that this kit is intended for race cars only. Crucially, it cannot be installed on vehicles still equipped with ABS; however, it can be used in conjunction with an ABS delete kit. The kit uses a generic handbrake handle, assembly, and master cylinder, distinguishing it from GKtech's more premium pro kits which feature proprietary assemblies and higher-end components. This hydraulic e-brake assembly and in-line braided line kit is compatible with a range of Nissan vehicles, including C33, C34, and C35 Laurels, A31 Cefiros, various R32, R33, and R34 Skylines (GTR and GTS-T/GT-T), S13 (KA24 and SR20, including hatchback variants), S14 240SX/Silvia, S15 Silvia, and Z32 300ZX models.
