The Genuine Porsche hydraulic engine mount is a direct replacement part engineered for optimal performance and durability in Porsche 997.1 and 997.2 Coupe, Cabrio, and Targa models. Built to OE standards, this mount utilizes a hydraulic system to significantly absorb engine vibrations and noise, contributing to a smoother and quieter ride. The design ensures stable engine support, addressing common symptoms of worn mounts such as noticeable cabin vibrations, rough idling, or clunking noises during acceleration. This updated version features a black plastic base, which has been tested and approved by Porsche, offering the same high level of performance and durability as the previous metal design. The mount is suitable for both the left and right sides of the vehicle, with two units required per car for complete replacement. It is important to note that this hydraulic engine mount is **not compatible with vehicles equipped with PASM/PADM (Option 140)**. Installation may require specific bolts (90037815901) and nuts (N90848405), which should be sourced separately. Replacing worn engine mounts can resolve issues like excessive engine movement under throttle and improve overall driving dynamics.
