The Elgin E-1006-P is a high-performance, hydraulic flat tappet camshaft engineered to significantly enhance your engine's potential. Constructed from durable cast iron, the E-1006-P camshaft ensures reliable valve timing and longevity. Its specifications include an advertised intake duration of 310 degrees and exhaust duration of 320 degrees, with durations at 0.050 inch lift measuring 244 degrees intake and 254 degrees exhaust. The valve lift is 0.510 inches for intake and 0.533 inches for exhaust, with a lobe separation of 112 degrees. This camshaft is designed for a basic operating RPM range of 3200-6500. This camshaft is application-specific and has been found to fit 35 different engines across various manufacturers including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC. It is compatible with a wide range of engine displacements, from 262 cubic inches up to 400 cubic inches, and spans model years from 1955 to 2002 for many applications. Please consult the detailed application list to confirm fitment for your specific engine and vehicle year. Note that '55-'56 Small Block Chevrolet camshafts may require late model cam bearings if used in certain applications.
