Description

The Howards Cams CL711381-10 is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit engineered for Small Block Chrysler LA engines produced between 1964 and 2003. This kit is compatible with various displacements including the 273, 340, 360, and the 1967-1991 318 engines. Designed for a fair idle and exceptional torque, this camshaft kit is stated to perform best in 273-318 cubic inch applications. It offers a duration of 208 degrees at 0.050 inch lift for the intake and 214 degrees for the exhaust. The lift specifications are .479 inches for the intake and .494 inches for the exhaust, with a lobe separation angle of 110 degrees. This camshaft kit operates within an RPM range of 1400 to 4800, making it suitable for a variety of street and performance applications. The manufacturer also notes that 4-barrel carburetors and headers are recommended for optimal performance with this camshaft.
