Description

The Summit Racing SUM-4400 Classic Camshaft is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft engineered for Ford Small Block engines, specifically the 289, 302, and 351W. It features an advertised intake duration of 262 degrees and exhaust duration of 272 degrees, with a lift of .448 inches on the intake and .472 inches on the exhaust. The cam's operating RPM range is between 1,200 and 4,500 RPM. It is a good option for towing applications and is also noted as being suitable for turbocharging. The specifications suggest it can enhance fuel economy in stock engines. For Ford 351W or SBF engines with the firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, this camshaft is a direct fit.
