This camshaft is ideal for street enthusiasts seeking a classic, choppy idle and true performance gains, making it suitable for street/strip and bracket racing applications. By reducing friction, it effectively increases torque and horsepower, delivering the performance and throttle response expected from a performance camshaft. Manufactured with high-grade quality cores and held to strict tolerances on dedicated, high-precision machines, this camshaft is Rockwell tested and parkerized to ensure the highest quality control standards. The kit includes matching premium tie-bar style hydraulic roller lifters. Key specifications include an RPM range of 1800-5600, an intake lift of .560" and exhaust lift of .565" with OE rocker ratio, and durations of 227° intake and 235° exhaust at .050" lift. The lobe separation angle is 109 degrees, and the intake centerline is 103 degrees. Note that stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used with this camshaft, and it features tie-bar lifters. The application is for Ford 302 HO & 5.0L, and 351W OE Roller engines. For optimal exhaust tone and performance, a good dual exhaust system without a cross-over is recommended.
