The Howards Cams 770665-10 is a high-performance hydraulic roller camshaft engineered for 1992-2002 Chrysler 5.2L and 5.9L Magnum engines, designed to significantly enhance power output within a 2800 to 6500 RPM range. Constructed from race-quality cores and precision-ground on CNC machines, this camshaft ensures durability and accuracy. It undergoes Rockwell hardness testing and is Parkerized for corrosion resistance. The camshaft features a valve lift of .581" on the intake and .587" on the exhaust, with a duration at 0.050" of 241° intake and 247° exhaust. The lobe separation is 110°, and the intake centerline is 106°. This camshaft is specifically recommended for pro street/strip applications and requires supporting modifications for optimal performance. It demands a compression ratio of 10.0:1 or higher, a stall converter of at least 2800 RPM, and a rear gear ratio of 4.10 or lower. These components ensure the engine can effectively utilize the camshaft's aggressive profile. The 770665-10 camshaft is designed for a rough idle, contributing to its sporty feel. It is meticulously packaged in a high-impact plastic case to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
