The Brian Tooley Racing PDS Stage 2 Torque Camshaft is a performance camshaft engineered for Gen III/Gen IV LS engines, specifically designed for supercharged, roots-type applications. This advanced camshaft, with specifications of 221/24X duration, .619/.617 lift, and a 113 LSA, offers significant power and torque gains across the entire RPM curve. The intake lobe lift at Top Dead Center (TDC) is 0.04730. Developed in-house and rigorously tested using Spintron and engine dyno equipment, the PDS Stage 2 camshaft prioritizes maximizing the overall power curve while ensuring exceptional valvetrain stability and durability. For optimal performance, the use of E85 fuel is highly recommended with this camshaft. BTR's testing, conducted on their Superflow dyno with an LS3 short block, GMPP ported LS3 heads, and a Kong ported LSA supercharger running 17psi of boost on E85, demonstrates its impressive power output potential. Specific fitment includes LS3 engines equipped with positive displacement superchargers, as well as broader applications for supercharged 1997-2013 LS-based engines (5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L), ideal for LSA engines but also effective on other 5.7L, 6.0L, or 6.2L LS-based engines. It has also been noted to work perfectly in G8 GTs, 5th Gen Camaros, and C6 Corvettes.
