Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing GEN V Stage 1 Supercharged Camshaft (BTR-GENVSTG1SCPDS) is engineered for Gen V LT engines utilizing centrifugal or PDS style superchargers. It delivers excellent power and torque across the entire RPM range, offering more performance than similar cams with greater duration while maintaining great street manners. This camshaft is suitable for 5.3L-6.2L engine combinations, particularly those using smaller superchargers. Developed in-house and rigorously tested using Spintron and Engine Dyno methods, this camshaft features new BTR lobe designs focused on achieving a higher overall power curve. It includes a 38% fuel lobe and is designed to be locked out, with a recommended BTR VVT lockout bushing. The specifications include 217/23X duration, .639"/.639" lift, and a 114 LSA, with an intake lobe lift at TDC of 0.04030. Due to its high valve lift and increased RPM potential, the use of BTR dual or conical spring kits is required. Hardened pushrods are also recommended for power adder applications. While it will work with a stock torque converter in 6.2L car and truck applications, an aftermarket converter may be necessary for optimal drivability in L83 truck applications.
