Hydraulic Roller Lifter Set

The Johnson Lifters 2110R is a premium set of hydraulic roller lifters designed as a race-style, drop-in upgrade for GM Gen III and Gen IV LS engines that do not use DOD/AFM systems. They are trusted by top engine builders and have proven reliable in both street and race applications. Constructed from a cold-forged 1018 steel body that is CNC machined and heat-treated, these lifters offer superior wear resistance. The precision-ground needle roller bearing features a high-chromium steel axle for extended life and reduced friction. An extra-long, cold-forged piston is precision-fitted to ensure slow leakdown, maintaining lift without collapsing and reducing cold start noise associated with high valve spring pressures. Key features include a high-flow disc-style check valve for quick response at higher RPMs and precision oil metering to ensure proper rocker arm lubrication without sacrificing oil pressure. The encapsulated roller design is capable of handling higher spring loads compared to open fork designs. The 2110R lifters utilize an .842" diameter and a no-link bar design, working with the included OEM-style plastic lifter trays. This set includes 16 lifters and 4 GM 12595365 guide trays. The 2110R lifters are stated to be .005" shorter than the LS7 lifter, with a recommended pre-load of .035" ±.010". They have been tested by GM Performance for COPO LS engines, reportedly maintaining 95% of cam lift during operation, significantly more than the LS7 lifter's 50%.
