Hydraulic Roller Lifter Set

The Johnson Lifters 2356R set offers a durable, direct-fit solution for high-RPM Gen III Hemi builds. The axle-oiling system provides crucial lubrication for high RPM and high spring pressure demands, contributing to exceptional wear resistance. Constructed from cold-forged steel and heat-treated for durability, these lifters feature a precision-ground needle roller bearing with a high chromium steel axle for longevity and low friction. The cold-forged, extra-long piston is precision-ground for controlled leak-down and pump-up. A high-flow, disc-style check valve ensures quick reaction at higher RPMs, while precision oil metering provides adequate oiling to the rocker arms without compromising oil pressure. Each set includes 16 lifters and is proudly made in the USA. Installation requires attention to detail. It is recommended to inspect lifters for damage, ensure rollers spin freely, and wipe down the lifter body. Coating the outside with engine oil is advised, though soaking is not recommended. Preventing debris from entering the lifters is critical for longevity, so thorough cleaning of the engine's top end is essential before installation. Inspect and replace worn rocker arms, pushrod ends, and valve tips as necessary. Lifters should be installed, and preload set to the recommended specifications (.035" +/-.010"). A post-installation oil and filter change after 50 miles is advised to remove any residual debris. These lifters are designed for 2003-newer Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep Hemi engines with 5.7L, 6.1L, 6.2L, and 6.4L V8 models. Specific applications include the Chrysler 300 (2005-2023), Dodge Challenger (2008-2023), Dodge Charger (2006-2023), Dodge Durango (2004-2023), Dodge Magnum (2005-2008), Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup (2003-2010), Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup (2003-2010), Dodge Ram 3500 Pickup (2003-2009), Jeep Grand Cherokee (2005-2023), RAM 1500 (2011-2023), RAM 2500 (2011-2023), and RAM 3500 (2011-2023). Please note that the MDS (Multi-Displacement System) must be physically deleted and programmed out of the PCM when running Johnson lifters. Longer pushrods may be required; measure for proper length during installation.
