Hydraulic Roller Lifters

The Johnson Lifters 2126LSR is a full set of 16 hydraulic roller, link-bar race lifters specifically engineered for Gen III and Gen IV LS engines. These lifters are designed with a slow leak-down rate, a travel of 0.093 inches, and feature axle oiling capabilities, making them suitable for high-performance applications. Constructed from cold-forged steel, the body of each lifter is heat-treated to ensure exceptional wear resistance. They utilize a precision-ground needle roller bearing paired with a high chromium steel axle, promoting long life and minimal friction. The extra-long, cold-forged piston is precision-ground and fitted to achieve controlled leak-down and pump-up characteristics. Additionally, a high-flow, disc-style check valve provides quick reaction times at higher RPMs, and precise oil metering ensures proper lubrication to the rocker arms without sacrificing oil pressure. All Johnson Lifters are proudly made in the USA. These lifters are designed to accommodate applications with over 500 lb open spring pressures and are recommended for serious naturally aspirated engines. The recommended pre-load is .035 +/- .010 inches. They are also compatible with proprietary tie-bar systems and often feature short travel and variable duration lift options.
