Hydro-Lock Bypass Valve

The AEM Air Bypass Valve is a crucial accessory for AEM Cold Air Induction systems, engineered with a patented design to virtually eliminate the risk of hydro-lock. This occurs if the air filter becomes submerged in water. The valve installs on the upper portion of the inlet pipe, shutting down induction at the filter when submerged and rerouting air through its external diaphragm to maintain airflow and protect the engine from water ingress. It precisely fits tube sizes ranging from 2.25 inches (58mm) up to 3.00 inches (76mm). The product comes with the necessary mounting hardware, including two 1/2-inch wide hose clamps, simplifying the installation process. Installation location may vary depending on the specific system.
