The Injen 1031BLK is a black Hydroshield pre-filter designed to enhance the efficiency of Injen air filters. Constructed from a proprietary base media and treated with a hydrophobic, water-repellent coating, this Hydroshield is UV resistant and can stop contaminants down to .005". It is also puncture resistant and features elasticity that helps it return to its original shape after servicing.

The Injen Hydroshield is a pre-filter engineered to improve the performance and longevity of Injen's SuperNano-Web and 8-Layer oiled cotton gauze air filters. Constructed from a proprietary base media, it is treated with a hydrophobic water-repellent finish to effectively block water and other elements. This black Hydroshield offers robust protection, being UV resistant, capable of filtering contaminants as small as .005 inches, and puncture resistant. Its design also features elasticity that aids in returning the Hydroshield to its original shape and position after servicing. By diverting damaging contaminants, the Injen Hydroshield helps prevent air filters from clogging, thereby maintaining peak airflow and horsepower output. The Hydroshield is designed to fit filters with a 5" base, 4.875" height, and a 5" top.
