Hyper One (H1) Exhaust Camshaft

The Toda Hyper One (H1) camshaft is a specialized racing component for K20A engines, designed to maximize midrange performance between 4000 and 6000 RPM. Developed with Time Attack events in mind, where low-end power is secondary to corner-exit acceleration, the Hyper One camshaft features redesigned Pre and Sec cam lobes. This optimization contributes to significant gains in the torque band and power curve in the mid-to-upper RPM range, especially when utilized with Racing VTEC. This exhaust camshaft (Part No. 14121-K20-11H) has specific lobe profiles with angles and lift: H1: 267(11.5) 95° / 292(12.0) 102.5°. It is intended for use in a set with the intake camshaft. Installation of the Hyper One camshaft requires several prerequisites. Standard valve springs cannot be used; the TODA Up Rated Valve Spring is required. It is crucial to confirm adequate valve-to-piston clearance, valve-to-valve clearance, and cam lob-to-follower clearance during operation. Furthermore, this product is recommended for use in conjunction with the TODA Sports Injection KIT, specifically individual throttle bodies, as a single throttle body system may struggle with the unstable airflow at idle. For optimal results, VTEC engagement is recommended at 5850 rpm and disengagement at 5600 rpm.
